They became a publication of the Laboratoire souterrain du CNRS (Tomes 7 à 13), and then published by the CNRS at Moulis (france). |

Annales de Spéléologie [1959-1976] Tome 14 to Tome 31 (1959 - 1976) Published by CNRS, Paris Edited by Albert Vandel (1959 - 1971) and Claude Delamare-Deboutteville (1972 - 1979) The "Annales de Spéléologie" nouvelle série (1959-1976) were published as a continuation of the Notes Biospéologiques as a result of the melting of the "Notes Biospéologiques" with the "Annales de Spéléologie" formerly published by the Société Spéléologique de France and the Comité scientifique du Club Alpin. They were edited by the head of the Laboratoire Souterrain at Moulis: Albert VANDEL until 1971, then Claude DELAMARE-DEBOUTTEVILLE published by the CNRS. Each issue used to comprise a part devoted to biospeleology and a section devoted to general speleology (karstology, geology, hydromorphology...). The CNRS stopped the edition with volume 31. |

3- Mémoires de Biospéologie [1977-2002]
The "Mémoires de
Biospéologie ", founded by Christian JUBERTHIE, were
edited from Tome 1 to Tome 4 asa supplement of the "Annales
de Spéléologie" and entitled "Documents",
published by the "Laboratoire souterrain". When the
"Annales de Spéléologie" stopped, lthe
"Mémoires de Biospéologie" became, on
Tome V and followings, a proper journal ; the volumes V and VI
being published by the Laboratoire souterrain du CNRS. |

LIBRARY of the SOCIETE INTERNATIONALE
DE BIOSPEOLOGIE
Since 20 years, the Society has around 75 exchanges between Mémoires
de Biospéologie and Speleological or Biospeological
others Journals. These journals were formerly registred to the
" Laboratoire souterrain Library " in Moulis (Ariège,
France).
The former "Laboratoire Souterrain du CNRS" at Moulis
became the present "Station d'Ecologie Expérimentale
du CNRS" at Moulis and the library of the Society is no longer
managed in that place.
The SIBIOS-ISSB Library is deposited at the Museum National d'Histoire
Naturelle, Brunoy (France). It includes all the remaining volumes
of the "Mémoires de Biospéologie" edited
by the Society.
The list of exchanges with the Journal "Subterranean Biology
is published on the page devoted to the journal.
The list of references (books, documents, journals...) gathered
in this library is published on the page devoted to Subterranean
Biology Libraries.
A CAVE-BIOLOGY DOCUMENTATION
CENTER
A part of the library coming from Claude Delamare Deboutteville,
René Jeannel, Albert Vandel... and Museum laboratories,
has been saved and preserved as a specilized documentation center
on cave biology and cave organisms. It is deposited at the Museum
National d'Histoire Naturelle, Brunoy (France) as the "Fonds
documentaire spécialisé de Biologie Souterraine
du MNHN".
