Meetings on Biospeleogy or Subterranean Biology & related...

SIBIOS-ISSB International Conference & Symposium of Biospeleolgy
An International Meeting of Biospeleology is regularly organized, every two years.
It occurs during even years.
Next International Symposia will be held in 2010, 2012, 2014...
The first International Symposium of Biospeleology was organised at Moulis in 1979 when the Société de Biospéologie was funded.
Since this time, the international nature and the importance of the international scientific meetings increased and evolved, depending of the time, year, or place.
NB: the Vth International Symposium of Biospeleology held at Roma (Italy) in 1986 was combined with the 51° Convegno dell'Unione Zoologica Italiana (CUZI)

SIBIOS Workshops and Roundtables
During odd years without International Symposium, round-tables were held with the Sibios General Assembly.
Particular
workshops use to occur, depending of temporal or local opportunities.
Related meetings
Related meetings on subterranean biology, biospeleology or subterranean sciences are also organized by SIBIOS members or Institutes
and Societies strongly related to SIBIOS activities.
Sibios members are invited to contribute on their own to such meetings.
